Falls, Balance Physical Therapy

Fall Prevention & Balance Program

Fall Prevention, Balance Disorders

Fall Prevention: Falls are the most likely cause for

accidents in people

over 65. This emphasizes that falls are a serious problem in maintaining an elders independence. As a person ages their balance becomes impaired. Some of the reasons why seniors tend to fall are changes in vision, lack of flexibility, less muscle strength, especially in their legs, and changes in their sleep patterns and sensory feedback.

Our Therapists can assess the cause of your symptoms and create a comprehensive plan to address the causes of your  balance problems.
